Lucky Starters is a government social program that explores with two main characters of two different species: Vulcan Harvey, a Ram Farhie, and Cobalt Ray, a Human. They learn about one another despite having a rough start in assuming each others' stereotypes and looks. There are four parts to the story, and it shows the progression of the two main characters along with the people they meet in program. The game is created in Renpy as it helps show the story of people becoming friends despite differences and prejudice being obstacles.

 

The visuals are done by two artists for the project to help bring my story to life with 2D art. While all of the story has been completed and implemented, I am still waiting for the art assets to be complete, so there are only a few visuals, such as backgrounds and expressions of characters. The expressions help to enhance the story and see the characters mood, and the cast of humans and non-humans helps to showcase the obstacles of being friends or getting over prejudice from both sides.
